after we have got an overview of SCOM in past article :
this is first article of SCOM installation which will discuss server preparing for SCM installation

we have windows 2016 server with IP address 172.16.100.142 which we will install SCOM
other server in DMZ will be SCOM client beside of client computer in LAN subnet
Server Identity
server identity include :
- sysprep if we clone VM
- IP address
- server name
- join AD domain pioneers.lab
add local administrators
SCOM installation require to create two domain account
- pioneers\SCOMadmin : for install and manage SCOM
- pioneers\SQLadmin : for install and manage SQL
these two account will added to local administrators group of SCOM server
install prerequisites tools
this step include to install two tools
- crystal report
- report viewer
